What is included with the 'Website Hosting'?

Our WordPress Hosting is provided by WPEngine, an industry leader in website uptime & stability. Our hosting covers sites of up to the following metrics:
-25,000 Visits/mo
-8 GB Storage
-75 GB Bandwidth/mo

If your site exceeds this, we can work with you to upgrade your hosting package.

What is considered 'Support / Development' tasks and hours?

-Our Support & Development tasks and hours can be applied to making changes or troubleshooting any aspect of your WordPress website. So whether you want to build a new page, redo the look / feel of an existing page, or debug an issue – we have you covered.

The Plus & Basic plans cover 1 task per month or quarter. A task is considered any development request that takes about an hour or less for a developer to complete. The Growth & Pro plans covers 2 Hours of development time in a calendar month (across multiple tasks).

All tasks and time are use-it-or-lose it and do NOT roll-over or accrue.

What if I need more 'Support / Development' than My plan covers?

If one month you have a task(s) that needs more time than is covered in your support package, you can purchase development hours a-la-carte and apply this time to the specific task.

What Updates do you run?

On a regularly scheduled basis we will run updates to WordPress core, your theme, and your plugins. Additionally, we will run emergency-critical updates ASAP as they are released for security reasons.

What is 'Security & hacking insurance'?

Security & Hacking Insurance means that if your site is hacked we will fix the hacking issues for free of charge as part of your support plan.

Please note that this is only available on Managed-Hosting hosts, such as WPEngine & FlyWheel. On hosts, such as BlueHost & GoDaddy we do not offer the Security & Hacking Insurance package.

*Why the asterisk in relation to Staging Sites, Backups, & Security?

These x3 services are completed at the host level. If your host doesn’t offer the ability for us to perform these services, then we will not be able to offer them.

What constitutes an eCommerce site and requires the Pro plan?

If your site uses WooCommerce or Easy Digital Downloads, or if you have another plugin that lets you accept payments on your site, then your site would require the Pro plan

Do I have to use Web Puma for hosting to utilize your Support / Development plans?

No, you do not. Hosting on our WPEngine account is an optional, value-add we offer our customers. We regularly support & maintain sites on other hosts. However, in order to provide the optimal service, best uptime, and fastest troubleshooting, we recommend hosting on WPEngine or another Managed-Hosting provider
